Policy Issues
The Ontario Fruit and Vegetable Growers' Association is a lobby organization that represents its farmer members on a variety of issues.
Its efforts are particularly focused on five key areas of interest to all fruit, vegetable and greenhouse producers, regardless of the types of crops they grow: Crop Protection, Labour, Energy, Property & Infrastructure, Environment & Climate Change and Safety Nets.

Improve access to crop protection products, technology and tools that support sustainable and safe food production.

Ensure farmers have access to a qualified, reliable work force.

Energy, Property & Infrastructure
Mitigate energy costs impacts so that the sector can be competitive. Promote infrastructure, tax & land use policy that support sector growth.

Ensure government environmental programs and policies are realistic, practical, fact based & balanced.
