George started work on the family farm in Tillsonburg after graduating from the Ivey School of Business at Western University of Ontario. His work off the farm includes 18 years with the Tobacco Board, with four years as Chair and ten years as an executive member. He also serves as the appointed chair of the Ontario Greenhouse Vegetable Growers.
